idgaffoods is set to release his first-ever single, “Hit Me On My Beeper,” on 2.28.25. He has been rapping and making music with his long-time friends and a few new ones. “Hit Me On My Beeper” was inspired by his middle-school/high-school crush, OG Amanda. idgaffoods wanted her so bad and would take her to the mall, buy her things, and let her borrow his beeper*, but she wasn’t down and would often talk about her ex Dominick (as played by BlackEnuff), and his soup can-like wiener.

With its low-budget music video and sonic crust, the catchy track is destined to become an anthem for 80s & 90s kids. It’s about communicating with payphones & beepers, aka pagers, being in love with someone who doesn’t feel the same, which makes them even hotter, going to the mall, skipping class, and rolling blunts on Trapper Keepers.

While idgaffoods has no rap experience, he used to make music with his friends in grandma’s basement before he eventually pawned all of his guitars & equipment to buy heroin and crack. One of those friends that used to stop by to rap over rock music and pass out is Papo, aka Piopi Rojas – 00:00-00:00. For these two, their reunion represents a triumphant return to planet Earth, and their contrasting styles gel. Fans can expect more collaborations in the future.

The Story of BlackEnuff

Coming from Manchester, Connecticut, idgaffoods had many friends growing up in a fairly diverse area: Puerto Ricans, African Americans, Dominicans, and Asians, including insurance salesman Hong Baby. Upon getting to Utah, he couldn’t help but notice all the white bread. idgaffoods was relieved to meet Eddie Brown, aka BlackEnuff, and he often says, “Eddie, you’re black enough for me.”
